Luxbaum Windows + Doors are manufacturers of a complete line of hurricane resistant residential wood windows and residential exterior wood doors. These products were developed for the high-risk hurricane-prone coastal regions of the United States and the Caribbean Basin. All our products are approved by the Miami-Dade County Product Control Division. This approval granted, required the design, engineering and the testing of the product to comply with the Florida Building Code, including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone.
Our products are engineered to meet the requirements of the Building Code for Windstorm Resistant Construction, the Standard Building Code, and the South Florida Building Code. Each window and door features impact resistant glazing and multi-point locking systems incorporated into the hardwood sashes.
These high standards, attested to through the issuance of the Notice of Acceptance ( NOA ) by the Miami-Dade County Product Control Division, deliver fenestration manufactured by Luxbaum Windows + Doors. Our design ensures the integrity of the building envelope during hurricanes, and delivers high burglar proof characteristics, an increased sound-proofing, and the highest thermal insulation. These windows and doors do not require impact shutters.

We have recognized the importance of custom designing this high-end fenestration program, assisting the design professionals with several sash width, muntin and mullion profiles, jamb extensions, casings, interior and exterior paneling and shutters. We will custom profile the jambs and the sashes, within the geometry of our tested profiles to meet any custom design chosen by the architect or the designer.
